Guy, I honestly don't think mining is one of the worst sectors, as I believe retail and financial cos. are much more vulnerable. But transportation is facing a huge problem. And, yes, commodity prices could go up if you can't get them where they are supposed to go.

My focus on Y2K has been and will continue to be the threat it poses to business spending on information technology. The more you spend fixing the old stuff, the less money you have to buy the new stuff.

But I am sure willing to think that commodity availability could be impacted in our favor.
