If the Western Digital Hard drive fails...
$159 warranty on entire system - no need for downtime or shipping.

I went looking at computers today and decided to
keep my PII 400. If the 8.4 gig HD fails, I just take it
to CompUSA and they put a new HD in it while I'm
there. They may even let me select a different brand
if I pay a little extra, but don't know.

My new little 180mhz Cyrix is quite noisy, and sometimes sounds grovely like it needs power and not making smooth noise. Is this
most likely the WD hard drive? I have never had a HD failure.
How do you know if you have one?

I have to concur Spots, I have had numerous WD drives,
never a problem. My 2.5 in my machine has been through
the wringer with me. I constantly am moving my computer
when I travel ( it's not a laptop) has been on for 2 years
solid, only turn it off when I move it. Never had a problem,
yet!?!?

Best Regards to all
