Len, I am running Win98, I delete the original partition (C) and created a new one, then formated HD and installed all the software agian. So far the system is working well. The only things I have NOT install yet are: Logitec mouse drivers Umax Scanner driver I am puting this thing through everything, trying to re-create the problem. If I can't re-create it by tomorrow, then I will install the mouse drivers, then try it again, then I will install the scanner driver and put the puter through the paces again. Maybe the partition was corrupt. I don't know, but I am going to keep at it. Once again, the system is running 100%, but I am not holding my breath. Any imput from anyone is appreciated. Thanks
