Oh, the sleek "PlayCenter" bundled with SB Live plays my VCDs better than any of my previous software (than includes Xing, Sony or QuickTime). No skipping whatsoever, unlike before, and needless to say the picture quality is so good (even at full screen) that I have decided not to buy a stand-alone VCD player. Now, let's see a VCD player would have cost at least S$200, or about US$115 ... that pays for the speakers and a bit more ......

Anyone see the latest SB Live owner's FAQ ... it says an add-on hardware will be made available later to enable AC-3 (Dolby Digital) decoding and playback!
