P&F, I believe it is the past tense of grab. May also have something to do with worms.... Jill the always eager to help Oh, I think it may also be used on camping trips, i.e., "This here grub would be a lot better if'n there wuz a fire to cook it on!" (Except, don't end a sentence with "on." It's bad grammar.
