Alan, it is a tough decision, when I was in your shoes, I ditched the stock on the spot, no second thought. I was in SPCT, made few profitable trades and caught in the one day collapse, I bailed out close to the opening, the stock has languished since then (almost 10 months now) at 50% of the price I ditched it (By the way, now I am monitoring it as a possible new buy, since it is showing very good relative strength).

As for having a recession or not in our future, no one knows, the point I am trying to make is that the failure of the transports and its divergence from the Industrials is a classical Dow Theory sell signal indicating a future recession. The argument is that the failure indicates that fewer goods and people will be moving around sometime in the future due to lower economic activity. You should know however, that the market has "predicted" more recessions than have actually occured. (G).
