Yikes!! Either they are REALLY stupid at Discreet, or we haven't heard the whole story yet. If ADSK pre-announced, one would have to believe that, since the deal was pegged to the share price of ADSK, this would have been brought up by DSLGF through the negotiations. I bought into DSLGF (some at 18, some at 12) because I thought it was a really interesting company that would get a boost with a new CEO who could tell their story, etc etc., and the share price would jump accordingly. Now, I effectively own ADSK - a boring outfit that every draftsman in the world loves to hate. Hope that there is more to this deal than we've seen - maybe ADSK is coming out with a revolutionary 4D CAD program, using Discreet effects? We will see the Titanic in multi-coloured line drawings? Only The Shadow knows... PS had a nice visit to Montreal my old home town this summer - seems to be on the uptake, which was nice to see... Cheers, Mike
