Ibexx, although the implication was for the overall market, it is unlikely DELL will be left behind, given its leadership role and strong performance. Interestingly, Bob Brinker has made several positive comments about the beaten down groups preparing for strength in '99,such as semi-equipment makers, ie NVLS, AMAT, which imply bullishness for PCs. Comments about the put/call ratio? I know you play the options and I'd value your insights, thanks.

In past, BB has never like the "high flying" box makers, but he did say that CPQ was establishing great relative stregth. Any one calling in about Dell, he has advised them to take the profit while it's still high. (that was 6 months ago when dell was much lower).

I have a great deal of respect for him re: market trends but not for stocks.

btw: s&P is up 11% and NDX is up 38%. Do u think s&P will move up and NDX remain in trading range? or would we see the contiunation of the trend?

for me, for Dell bears better it is. Long term dell growth is predicted only to be 30-35% but I belive dell will keep pacing forward at 40-45%(3x the industry) in a long term, thus always beating future expecations.
