Something you should know about Auric Goldfinger:
He is using you just as much as stock promoters use innocent investors on the long side.

It's funny you should ask about CYPH, Chris, for that is a stock where Auric has, in my humble opinion, crossed over the line into committing fraud. On the CYPH thread Auric has claimed, among other things, to have it on "high authority" that BMY was going to shelve their agreement with CYPH. He also claimed to know the technical details of CYPH's contract with BMY. It turns out that neither of these statements could possibly be true, in the first instance because the contract apparently contains a clause requiring BMY to make a "commercial effort" to develop CYPH's technologies, and in the second because, as is common in biotechnology licensing agreements, the contract contains confidentiality clauses that prevent parties to the agreement from disclosing any competitively-important information contained in it (such as the technical requirements for milestone payments) to ANYONE, even the company's key stockholders.

I sincerely support the idea of exposing and shorting promotions, frauds and overvalued stocks, and I very much concur with Auric on a number of his recommended shorts.

However other of Auric's shorts (such as CYPH) are market manipulations pure and simple. He and his pal Assensio (I'm completely speculating on the pal part) are short all of Janssen/Myers' stocks, including MCHM, CCSI, RIPE and CYPH. Take a look at these stocks' charts since late May and you will notice startling similarities.

By pushing down all of J/M's stocks, they weaken J/M's ability to support the stocks. Auric and Assensio's problem is that one of these companies, CYPH, is "real," so when it comes to that one they have to spread rumors and lie.

You could short all four stocks along with Auric and Assensio, but the problem is that you don't know when they are going to cover, at which point the first three stocks will rise somewhat and CYPH will likely double. Call it a reverse pump and dump.

Ironic isn't it? Our brave short-side warriors are at base no more ethical than the stock promoters they claim to expose.

Auric, if you happen to read this, please think about some of these issues. You strike as basically a good person, but from what I've seen you write on the CYPH thread, you are starting to tread on some questionable moral, and perhaps legal, ground.

This has been a public service announcement.

You are correct that IBUY is manipulated and that it has a ferocious "e-commerce label". That does make it a very tough battle. The Company makes a 5% GROSS margin. In other words, by the time they add costs associated with sales, computers, shipping and advertising, they are taping $20 bills to every order that they ship. Their time is up.

Read the Orange County Register article that Arcane Lore posted on the IBUY thread, this company chews cash. However, with WALD thrown out of the less tough than he thought he was clearing efforts of W(ED)Bush and onto the even more CRIMinal efforts of First Southwest, Perle will have one more swing at taking this virtual lie higher.

You are correct that IBUY may get back into the low 20's. However, the keys to this manipulation are quickly dying. The keys to it were: restraining people from selling (SEC very much onto this), always being on the Bid for the stock (Perle does not have the capital anymore to play this game) and controlling the vast majority of the float-control which has been lost with the issuance of the convertible preferred which has recently had the underlying shares registered (more shares are associated with the convert than were previously outstanding due to the IPO).

Full disclosure: My short recommendations are not for the feint of heart. They are usually vicious battles that take months to play out given the devious CRIMinal minds on the opposite side of the battle. I provide these ideas for people with iron cast stomachs and to aid others in avoiding investing in such farces.
