Princess of the profit threads? I wish!!! I have pretty much given up on most of the stocks I already own, but am just a tad too nurturing, (or self-destructive) to bid them a final adieu, and I have lost so much money on them that a few dollars more would not really matter much, anyway. So they sit there on life support, with just enough signs of sentience to discourage me from pulling the plug, like a blood clot at the bottom of my portfolio. Hopefully nothing can fall through there!! Hubert, I am struck by the fine quality of your writing at the Thread Morons, and surprised that they are so seemingly picky about the company they keep. Isn't the title of the place pretty descriptive? I was particularly amused by your comment about your house without wheels. A new gutter poetry thread? Ah, a little like the summer of 1996, except that we are both exponentially older and wiser and less innocent, I suspect. Bon voyage on all of that!!! Gracie
