While it's not unusual to be trained in another scientific or medical discipline and then get a degree in homeopathy, we've got to be careful when statements are made about having "studied" with someone. That tells me that Dr. L. has no formal training in homeopathy.
It's like meeting a rock star at your local coffeeshop and telling him you like his latest CD, then going home and telling your friends you spent time discussing your ideas about music with the guy.
