Thanks for your response. Are you saying that I would not experience this type of problem at MB?

Is it really a Fido problem or something of that nature? I have to say, it is tremendously annoying, because I often don't know going into a trade whether I will or won't get a fast fill.

One reason I'd been sticking with Fido is that they work hard to get the confirmed cancel when trading gets taken off of the "automated" system. I was worried that, if this happened at MB, I might be stuck without anyone to help. If it doesn't happen at MB, that's a whole 'nother ballgame.

If the market makers set the rules as to when trades are automatic or non-automatic I am wondering why you expect Fido to be different? Please explain.
