I think there is at least a chance of a rally. There is a lot of cash building out there, and if we get a little rally and some short covering, maybe fund managers will pile on, fearing another thrashing by the index. Lot of money going into bonds, but the risk/return for those gets worse by the day!

Not saying the rally will be broad based, but I think the nature of the game today is liquidity, thus the underperformance of the Russell.

I am not so dogmatic as you, but am playing the very short term in bullish mode. Specifically, I like Cisco, Dell, and Microsoft.
