james-- i wouldnt fall into the export trap too soon. because of asian protectionism, we have been and will continue to be mostly unaffected by asia, mostly because we are a consumer driven economy. a lot of what we are seeing now, companies blaming shortfall on asia, is crap. HWP for instance is trying to cover up the fact that their management is inept, and that they can not compete effectively with american counterparts. sure, there are specific sectors and companies that are going to fell the pinch. but, on the whole, we are going to come through this relativly unscathed. its the psychological impact that is killing us. good luck to all, trey
