The Jan 2000 30 Calls are 5 to 5 3/8 - Symbol LWXAF
The Jan 2001 30 Calls are 6 7/8 to 7 3/8 - Symbol ZWXAF

Remember that Leaps are nothing more than options with a longer term expiration. The time value means they cost more. I think the cost is justified.

Regarding Friday's trades, I reckon at least some of it was CBS buyback program in force.

Regarding question on CBS v. DJIA relative performance: The Dow as you know is an index of 30 companies. The composite return is a sum of the combined returns of the 30 companies. Some are up and some are down. The composite is outperforming CBS year to date. Why? Well if I knew exactly why, that would be worth something wouldnt it! I can only guess. First, the market is pricing CBS inefficiently in my opinion. Why? Well because of uncertainty concerning the network, closing and ultimate sale price of industrial assets, the ultimate disposition of industrial pension and environmental liability, etc.
