I'm not the person to whom that question was addressed but I think it deserves a response (from just about anyone) worth considering by the entire thread.

Why worry?

1) Because the sale might have been made using a false premise;
2) Because learning about any investing decision might increase the chances of making the next investing decision a good one.

I've never bought into the idea that investors who haven't owned a particular stock or investors who have sold a particular stock can't benefit from and help all the people participating in a thread.

I also would be interested in knowing if the PE on SAP is likely to change dramatically when GAAP rules are used. I don't own the stock either.
