The Jones case was thrown out because the judge didn't think that, even if all the evidence presented were true, that the case met the standards required by Arkansas law. Many of the legal talking heads thought that the case would have been heard had it been filed under the far more "lenient" federal law. Unfortunately for Jones, the statute of limitations for such a suit had passed. In no way does the action in the Jones case mean that Clinton did nothing "wrong", only that it wasn't illegal under Arkansas law. The judge had some other interesting terms for the act (assuming it occurred).

The case being thrown out has had some interesting repercussions - apparently there is a move starting to change the Arkansas law to be closer to federal law - we'll see if that one goes anywhere.
