I have a position in the Rydex Ursa of 15 % of my portfolio. But frankly I consider puts a much better investment for me. The Ursa is just a bulwark against a huge collapse that probably won't happen. I bought in about 3 months ago. I think URSA is a good thing to have in your pocket, just like gold and oil are- but you don't want the majority of your portfolio there if you are any good at stock picking- on the short side as well as the long.
