Jim, my sweet, you are a real nice guy but are just wrong, wrong, wrong about my political beliefs, which are all over the map. Didn't I just finish saying I found myself agreeing with Bay Buchanan and Orrin Hatch this week? I also had quite a bit of respect for Barry Goldwater, who was more of a social libertarian than anything else. I think his tolerant position on homosexuals, in and out of the military, was absolutely right, for example. I also think he was honest, which goes a very, very long way with me. I think in the final analysis that basic integrity is more important than espoused political platform.
