Ok, I'll take the bait! If an investor is able to buy AMAT (let's
say they are fortunate enough to buy at $20 ) then they stand to make
50% gain at $30
100% gain at $40
150% gain at $50
200% gain at $60
250% gain at $70
300% gain at $80

versus buying at $30 which yields:

50% gain at $45
100% gain at $60
200% gain at $90
etc.

I'll wait, patience could be very rewarding by delaying a while
longer, right now I consider the downside risk greater than the
upside potential until things look like they are really improving.
You already know my criteria, Very similar to Jacobs!
