Margaret and other Southeasterners-Hurricane News :

NASSAU, Bahamas, Aug. 24 - Hurricane Bonnie blew past the Bahamas and headed toward the U.S. mainland Monday, where residents from Florida to North Carolina have been urged to remain on alert. Rip tides related to the storm claimed two lives along the East Coast. Bonnie intensified Sunday with winds upwards of 115 mph after traveling erratically through parts of the Bahamas on a route that could threaten the southeastern coast of the United States as early as Tuesday.
