I don't think the two can be compared because FIBR is a much more diversified company. CIENs approach is to do one thing well. FIBRs goal is "networking made simple". I think CIEN is a good company and I wish for nothing but the best for those shareholders who are down as a result of last weeks actions. I only responded to a post that said comparing long haul to short haul sales is not fair.

I can't believe the incompetent of this company. Fibr is so desperate for cash and have ran out of all possible way to raise cash except to rape its current shareholders. The spin on the raging hype board has entered into the last stage. WE DON'T CARE ABOUT NETARM, GIGAMUX IS THE ONLY THING THAT MATTER. You all should read your own clipping for the last 3 months. It used to be Giggamux, Net arm, IQX or some other crap. And then it is Gigagoog and Net arm. Now it is just Gigagug.
