Now that you type it protect(hmmm) looks better then purtect. I apologize to all for my idiotic spelling. You cant imagine what an albatross its been all my life. Its like thinking and not being able to speak clearly about your thoughts. The invention of spell check was great but over the last 10 years ive become so dependant that I have regressed. Anyway just cut me some slack and ill try to clean it up as much as I can. Back <OT> I think the news out of China is going to hit Erickson and Nokia(and inevitably our beloved Q) The government has reported Cell phone sales are down 30% due to floods. I also think that growth in the USA is picking up even more steam. I spoke about 20 stores(BAM and RSHK), they all told me that Q was by far the best seller, and they were eager for new Q. I also found no NOKIA's. Apparently there was a recall by Nokia because of quality problems!(oops I have Nokia stock to). The single mode phones are not selling nearly as well because of holes in coverage. If Qcom can offer a dual mode Q(without problems) they will sell like hot cakes!

1) I believe the United States is already paying the largest part of decommissioning much of the former Soviet Union's nuclear capability. $40 Billion is a cheapskate price, too, considering the costs if one were to go off in the wrong place, such as New York. We would be willing to pay more if it would ensure they are decommissioned before bin Laden or anyone else gets his hands on one.

2) Interesting story about "Mqurice." I always thought it was your way of promoting our favorite "Q," Qualcomm. Your story is funnier, and the attitude is quite consistent with everything else I've read here of yours, so I believe it.

3) Spelling is not easy. I admit to having won my share of Spelling Bees back at Bern Township Elementary, but I still use the spell checker before I call any document complete, including this one. I was not going to comment on this at all, but when I went to post the above #1 and #2 (sounds kinda dirty, doesn't it?) I had three words in red, not counting "Mqurice" and "Qualcomm." (Who do we talk to about getting those two added to the spell checker?)

Dyslexia is one thing, and I'm willing to make limited allowances. Sloppiness is something else again. There have been many annoying posts lately (no names mentioned - you know who you are!) where the meaning would have been much more powerful if I had not had to read them three times to be certain the author meant what I thought he did. I strongly suggest using the spell checker. And if SI ever puts a grammar checker online, I'll promote that, too.

I just had to edit this again, because I misspelled dyslexia.
