what were the payments at the time? Back then everyone wanted big deposits I think - targets of 3-4 MM - gold was a tad higher than today and people (property owners) were seeing stars as well. So for the time that the deal was done - it may have looked expensive - a number of other companies also went after the property after RTZ and passed - so there must have been some onerous demands made. THe same can be said of a lot of juniors today - what everyone wanted to pay for NSU 2 yrs ago - $15 w/ less than 1MM oz is a lot less than today - 4MM oz and .85.

No one has commented on the 350,000 ounces. Are they in one zone, two, several? The public is being asked to accept this as a starting point but the ounces may not be mineable so with dubious value. Sounds fishy to me.
