yeah, yeah...the more likely scenario is that we end up owning the planet<G>.

look at the numbers on how asia is really effecting us. as for russia...come on, US companies dont even do enough business there to count.

now, as for the markets...in the next few weeks we are going on a rollercoaster. the dow may eventually hit a low in the 6k range (dont laugh). we are going to see increased volatility over the intermediate term. but, we should stay relatively safe. its the buy the dip people and the foreigners looking for a safe haven. yeah, the US indexes may be overvalued, but they can still go higher...asset inflation anyone?

i dont expect any long term recession until 2001-2002.

as for holding the stock for years...probably. this has all been a real dissapointment.
