Geez, put at least a little forward thinking into it. It's sort of a requirement for the stock market.
If they offered those terms EVERY time, of course it doesn't make sense. To offer it in order to gain wider awareness of their services it makes perfect sense. I think the retailing business refers to such a marketing plan as "loss leader". Get them in the store and you get potential for cultivating a broader customer base. ALL retail cos. use loss leader tactics. They call it "a sale". How often have you returned to a store after going there the first time because of "a sale"? How much other stuff do you buy when you're there for "a sale"? ACRT has realized they can put their product "on sale" for new customers. I imagine that they're very confident of the future if they can do that.
