David in BC - here's my advice to you :-)

(1) Any Insider who supported Napier in the anti-stain days or when NIR was trading at less than $0.25 is fully entitled to take profits. If they want to take them now - great - it reduces the mountain of 'cheap' paper. The NIR paper only now seems 'cheap' - because as last as early March NIR was only trading at $0.25.

Since then the market has come to realize the potential of Napier and has rewarded it with a higher share price - with a base of up to eight times that level!!! This paper only seems 'cheap' now - but it wasn't back then. Financing is difficult for small companies - hence the need to offer attractive terms to investors who feel confident enough to support these companies. What's wrong with that - without financial backing Napier would be nowhere now - goes for any company. If they want to sell - let them - I would take some partial profits now if I was an Insider - smart thing to do - and I'd grab some Cisco or Lucent or something like that to ensure I maintained a diversified portfolio.

(2) I've been away for a week and it's been good to step back for a while to reflect upon the worth of all the Internet threads. To me the Stockhouse site is becoming way less relevant. It's a free site, it's very easy to sign up for multiple aliases and is ripe for fraud.

The poster you refer to 'lentils' is one of those posters with multiple aliases. I've had him thrown off SI *THIRTEEN* times because of his activities. He still posts to Stockhouse and The Raging Bull threads because they probably don't care too much about the ethics of their posters. Lentils is a jerk - SI says he's a jerk - DBC he's a jerk - why bother getting upset by anything he says? He's just out to yank your chain - simple as that.

Why is it so easy for me to have him thrown off SI when he signs up for endless trial memberships? One weekend several weeks ago he sent me something like 20 PM's - some of a disturbing nature - the guy is a woman hater, a wierdo and not worth the time of day. I forwarded these posts to SI Admin - they canned his paid-up membership and all his trial memberships up to that time - and everyone since upon my request.

How do you know that those posters who post in support of 'Lentils' on Stockhouse are in fact not Lentils using his aliases to post in support of himself? How many times have I posted there - called him a jerk - and within one hour - a brand new poster comes on and says something like "I've been lurking here for a while and I agree with Lentils...blah blah blah...".

(3) NIR took a beating in the last two weeks. The stock is being manipulated by people out to make a quick buck - 'monkeying with the stock' the Union broker told chris and me when we talked to him. When we move to a higher base the waters will be a lot less turbulent. Furthermore, there has been turbulence in the market as a whole recently and Napier is not immune. It takes some of its hits or surges as part of the general wave of negative or positive sentiment that sweeps through the markets from time to time - same as any other stock out there.

(4) If you're that concerned about NIR - primarily its downs - you may be following it too closely. Step back a little and let 'the little one' struggle through this rite of passage to a new base of $5+.

(5) **Here's my advice for you**

From the NIR Insider trading list - phone each Insider who has sold a chunk of stock in the last few months and ask them why they sold. Not all will tell you of course. For those who don't ask them if they could provide a 'yes or no' to this question: "Did you sell because you are not confident of Napier's future" They'll probably answer that for you.

That's my advice - simple as that.

David :-)
