Although I personally loathe Cramer, he does have extensive contacts in the industry and there is NO WAY he would short the runaway Amazon train unless he knew that the dangerous short squeezers are out, or about to get out.

This ties in with my prediction regarding that individual who made insane returns last week by buying thousands of calls and then around 8 million dollars of stock in 3 blocks to further jack the price up. Those shares will now need to be sold, and Monday is the first day they can do that without screwing up their options squeeze.. (friday they had to keep the price near 130)

If Vinik is finally getting out, I swear to god there is NOTHING left to keep this stock up. Without these short squeezes the stock would have be trading at around 1/3 its current value, if that much.

Even William will agree that much of today's stock price can be attributed to shorts getting repeatedly killed by squeezes.

Combined with the Barnes and Noble IPO, this could spell serious trouble for anyone left holding AMZN long. The asian markets are tanking tonight, by the way. Hard.

If Vinik tries to get out tomorrow, we could literally see this stock drop 20 points in one day. People who saw their August puts expire worthless are gonna be pissed. :) "Missed it by ONE day!!"
