Richard, the only info I now want is the mxam share price. Someone in the sciences once said "if you cannot explain it to me using numbers(math), then you words may or may not be true". You tell me that object is warm, and you come to this fact based on you touching the object. But if you are freezing cold from being in the cold outside, and I happen to have just left a long hot shower, then I will say that the object is cold. So, the heck with people telling us their feeling or hopes or dreams or desires or impressions of whats happening, just give me the numbers. The object is 65 F. per the 08/17/98 Chairman's message: <<As we learn of additional and improved techniques to the processes of mining and milling these desert placer ores I am more confident that Maxam Gold Corporation is on the correct path for profitable production.>> OK Chairman, as you "learn of additional and improved techniques" then put these numbers onto the web site. No numbers to me means that your learning has been unsuccessful. But if you have no numbers then how about letting the shareholders know of the improvments made to current processes. But if got one, then you got the other(numbers). As for additional techniques, could you share with the shareholders which techniques are available, and those you want to try. I can put anything I want into a post, even crap and bad numbers. But if Maxam put numbers into the web site and I posted other numbers or said their nubers are wrong, then threaders reading my post will view my post as crap and believe the Maxam web site because their lawyers let management know of legal consequences. But if Maxam does not put "whats happening today, using numbers", into the web site, then any post can crap onto Maxam, and it just words against words. To me its cold, to you its hot. I agree, with todays info about Maxam, it just words against words, based on trust and trust lost. So for me the only thing I want is a number equal to the price of mxam, which I can get monday thru friday, and Maxam Web Site is not needed or looked at. The number tells todays story, the past numbers tell the history of Maxam, which are more accurate than what was on the web site. (off topic) If the IPM official web site had weekly numbers for all activities, then based on current understanding of what IPM did in he past, it would have been realized long ago, when there was time to raise a red flag, that something is very wrong. For example, the IPM web site says "The test result numbers cannot be released because we can not determine who done the test since the sign off is in doubt because of other doubts. But the good news is that we are sure that more doubts will follow. Have a nice day. IPM". So if IPM informed the shareholders weekly with numbers, the current sad state of affairs would not to be, unless it was planned, then what better way to keep people in the dark than by keeping people in the dark. My speculation on Maxam is hold and buy if goes under .10. Doug
