Darth,

Shows what looking at charts alone does, it also sounds like vintage Plonk..

Like DELL is going to fall to 30 post split..

That is very funny actually..

DT,

You didn't ask it, but here's my advice: If you feel you absolutely must short DELL, then I strongly suggest you wait until the split. It may go down a bit after the split, but is unlikely to go down before then, unless the market takes a serious haircut.

We had a poster on the thread named McNabb back in October-January. He was shorting DELL and telling us it was going to 60 and that he wasn't going to cover until it did. By my calculations, if he only shorted 1,000 shares and hasn't covered yet, he is only minus $140,000. And he talked like he had shorted a lot more than that.

This thread has numerous posters who have made fortunes going long on DELL. I don't know of anyone who has made serious money shorting DELL. But you are old enough to know what you are doing... I'm afraid I can't wish you good luck, because I'm long, though I suspect you'll need it.
