Tim,

Looking at the chart, ASND seemed to be closing above 50 (except for 1 day) until the SRA deal was announced. Perhaps that is the reason?

I usually buy a techie issue because I think the technology is superior.

ASND looked good a year and a half ago. Ever since the 56k debacle, I've come to question whether they are anything but Si valley also-rans.

The recent internet phone glitch on day one really drove the point home hard. Technicals weak so I'm out!

Their chief competitor, CSCO, seems to be much more careful about not releasing buggy products. In fact, I asked some people at a leading ISP and they criticized ASND on this very point.

It seems as though there's a pattern wherein ASND gets a product out, gets the bugs out, builds sales and then CSCO appears with a competitive product that ramps up immediately.

I would like to hang around for a LU takeover play but it appears as though there is no LU and I am not hanging around while the technicals are weak.
