Gary, lets not forget that the reality of the situation is such that Dell has delivered excellent earnings, revenue, and profit growth for a long time. (The picture that I painted for Dell in my original response to your posting was a fictitious example. I was only trying to make a point.) Dell has excellent management and the stock's price is expected to continue growing. However, the decision to invest in Dell rests with you. In my own case, I invested in Dell when it was trading in the 80 dollar range. It was "expensive" then, however, you can see it was a good investment for me.

Good luck...

Stock Bull

Gary, there was nothing of truth in Stock Bull's reply to your query. His reply was a compendium of misinformation. Please read my answer to his reply.

The same statement and rationale were made 2 years ago by people who were reluctant to buy Dell then. The same was said 1 year ago. The same will be said a year from now. Dell will continue growing and delivering value to the investors for a long time to come. Get on board !

Be our guest Gary good luck with CPQ. I hear someone say 'CPQ will be the next CPQ' that by the way is an 'emulation' of the original stuff which goes something like DELL IS THE NEXT DELL, at least this is what Kemble tells me.<vbg>

Any way best of luck.

being a fundamentalist I typically invest in companies Gary, your statement perplexes me. All of the DELL detractors normally slam the stock's valuation, and not the company. Most informed persons would agree that DELL's fundamentals are superb.

Do you disagree with that? Your posts seem to conflict on this point. Would you please explain your position on the fundamental health of Dell Computer Corp.

Thanks.
