I'm surprised we haven't seen Petah Ahnet dragging his
"Babe FOD FACTERY" sign over there to report on USA's latest dastardly deed.

<<there must exist a factory that uses the component to manufacture the nerve gas. Right?

How do we justify hitting the former, and leaving the latter up and running? >>

If you bomb a factory that is actually manufacturing finished product, you run the very real risk of vaporizing the nerve gas and having it spread to the surrounding population. Fo that, and the US is responsible for "using" nerve gas on a civilian (or any other) population. Hit the pre-cursors, and there is little or no risk of nerve gas poisoning to the general population.
