actually i had 2 customers when i worked for a RDBMS company (not Informix) who as part of their restructuring ordered by the courts had to upgrade their entire computer systems infrastructure - they ended up being very large RDBMS and client/server deals migrating off mainfrome and mini-computers. A large part of the problems these companies experienced were due to inadequate computer systems - another plus was that since the funds were directed by the courts you were guaranteed to get paid!
