DELL seems to be a market performer (not in a percentage sense, but rather performance appears to currently be based on the direction of the overall market).

Freeus & All: CNBC, in a few minutes, is going to have a story on Dell. I think the story will cover Dell's help given to students.

I wouldn't know what to suggest regarding AOL. The little I know about Internet stocks of that type is all the momentum that has brought them to where they are today. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it is my understanding there are few (if any) of these companys that have been profitable yet. IF that's true, there are a couple of ways to look at it:

1. There is nothing solid to keep the stocks from dropping once interest subsides.

2. If they grew this quickly without being profitable, what is the potential once they start making money.

As for it being "a waste of money"...I can't speak for AOL but my BELIEF is there is very little downside to Dell right now (but then again, you already know that :-)

BTW..what news articles are you referring to? Your message is the only one I've read so far on the Dell thread.
