Bill, Re: Name a task that there is only a Wintel program

For general purpose market, people don't make their
choice this way. It is what programs that everyone you
know is using that matters. You can ask for help,
discuss tricks etc.

Unique Wintel Program Tasks Not Matched By a Single Mac Program

RE: Hal, "Name a task that there is only a Wintel program for (an App, not a utility that is CPU specific, many utilities are not needed for Mac as they lack the problems the utility was intended to fix)" Bill

Bill, all too easy! I name Word Processing, Database, and Networking tasks, if the task is to provide a corporate MIS director with an industry standard program that he can choose by throwing darts at a list, without fear of losing his job when things sour.

You may not think I answered your challenge fairly, but no Lazy-Butt MIS Director ever got fired by ignoring all but Wintel solutions.

Since this sad situation is a significant part of corporate computer program purchasing, this may be an answer of at least some significance.

PS: Bill, it continues to amaze me that so many investors have fallen so blindly in love with their investments. The most beloved seem to be Microsoft, Intel, and Apple. My very own TDFX would be a close runner-up. HR
