Bill, I think the shares Rob was referring to are the 2.4 million shares issued to pay for Junglee and PlanetAll, plus outstanding options held by employees of those two companies, plus recent 144 filings. In the two acquisitions, if memory serves, AMZN agreed to register the shares in the relatively near term, making them freely saleable in the market fairly soon.

PS: How is it that AMZN had 800 or so posts while I was on vacation and YHOO had only a few? Did I miss any good fights?;-)
