Baghul, If you are a short-term trader, you can certainly scalp a few dollars here and there during the time of uncertainties. However, as a long term investor (see my profile), I would not touch issues like CIEN myself as it does not--and will not--fit in with my investment strategies. The deal could still be consummated, only arbitrage ratio seems to be the pivotal point. However, there is also a sentiment (not sure whether it's the prevailing one or not) that some TLAB are against the merger, period, no matter what the ratio is. The collective sentiment of WS big boyz remains to be discerned. (And, frequently, this is a moving target.) Regards and continue your profitable trades, Ibexx
