Nothing like ripping a jerk a new asshole in front of everyone. Good one, Tom! LOL. I'll have to remember that one. Does it seem to you that no one knows how to spell "lose?" :o) Back to school for me today. I might have to cut back on my posting activities. :o( I'll still be with you, though. With estimated earnings of over $1.00 next year, and the stock stuck at $11, something has to give. It has been my experience with value/growth stocks that it is unfortunately the latter. But each of my picks has provided insight into just what goes wrong to cause a value stock to lose its value. CELL just doesn't seem to fit into any of them. While Asia growth remains a concern (as well as Latin America, now), the industry dynamics don't seem to point to a significant slowing of growth. My thought is this. It is to my understanding that Brightpoint has certain "garaunteed" margins from the handset manufacturers. Can you confirm this with Bob or Phil :o) ? If this is the case, then I see a type of zero sum gain from the Asia effects--The volume from the handset makers will still be there, but the actual phones may be absorbed into other markets (Europe and NA) through incentives or lower prices (should a price war break with oversupply). Also of note is today's announcement by ERICY that they are doing 2 pretty big GSM systems in Brazil. Should add 140,000 lines by year's end. And we know who will be selling those handsets for ERICY!
