Mr. Gull,

Why not check the share price of De Beers (DBRSY on Nasdaq) or that of Aber or Diamet. Or any other mining firm. This may catch you by surprise, but most commodity producing companies have had their share values whacked down lately. Some RSA gold producers have better prices in Rand terms, but that is a currency related bounce. Luckily, SUF's earnings are predominantly in $US.

It is the quiet summer period, many are on holiday, and while SUF should be much higher to reflect its intrinsic value, it is unsurprising that you would take this opportunity to cast a negative light.

As for the one large block traded, well, someone sold it, and someone bought it. If you can decide whether this is good or bad, please indicate your logic. For most observers, the presence of a buyer of a block of any stock is seen as positive, otherwise the seller would have to offload it piecemeal over several days.

Since you've been so quiet lately, but turn up now, let me ask you why you choose this as your forum?

Does NGS or the "heirs" have anything to do with SUF still? Are you concerned about payment from De Beers? What about that statement in De Beers quarterly report about splitting off some of their 60% to a black empowerment group? Does this negatively affect your group?
Is De Beers playing hardball with you people now?

This was probably a wasted attempt at communication, but is the dog days of August.

PS How come you don't phone Infoman? Is he/she holidaying with friends in Angola/Congo?
