Marc, I agree with you on most counts. Anybody who wants to present the bear case should be allowed to (although I disagree), with impunity. The thread probably has deteriorated as the sector has plunged, margin calls have piled on, losses, paper and real, have become evident. All that real pleasant stuff...

Platter That was an incredibly thoughtless and mean-spirited post. Thean had an uncanny ability to predict stock price movements in this sector, and his absence is a loss for all of us. As for Diamond, whether you like his attitude or not, he has been 100% right for a long time. We need to listen to intelligent people such as these who have opinions which may differ from our own. If everyone is of the same opinion, what's the point of even having a board such as this?
