wow, Zax...another great bear prediction! So...did you have fun with your "short of choice" today??

Yes. Took profits today on both an NSCP and a SEEK short position today :)

No cover on AMZN until there are great profits to be taken... this one is a keeper. If I could guess the way that AMZN were to move on any given day, or the market for that matter, I'd be a rich man indeed. My guess that today would see a selloff on the major indices was admittedly wrong. :(

Do you believe this stock will do anything but crash in the long term? Do you have a basis for this belief relating to potential revenues in the on-line book sales industry, and an attributable market share to AMZN? I'd love to hear it. If I've made a mistake, and could be convinced of it, surely my cover would in some small way help to propel your potential gains higher. Convince me to cover, if you dare, with a basis in fact other than short term stock performance.

By the way, I'm no bear. Most of my profits, and outright kills to date have been on the long side. I will tell you this: I have never been proven wrong by the market on a single short.

I'm gonna have to stop making guesses on the day, as its clear I am to be haunted by them from certain vindictive persons.
