bbruin.. I have a cable modem and there is no difference in speed with SI but then I have 192 RAM and I never really had any trouble before either. The real difference comes with downloading graphs, charts, .pdf files and everything else. When I run my 100 charts in telescan autorun it takes about 30 seconds to get them all.. About 1000% times faster than before. Data download is almost instanenous also.

It depends more on the route between you and SI. If you are getting long delays it is because there is a router between you and SI that is losing packets. If that is what's happening, you could have a T-1 and it would still be slow. Do a ping or traceroute and see of packets are getting lost.
