Hi David M. Anderson; Sure enough, Gore got caught good
and red handed on that and a few other things. But there
is such massive evidence of worse things in Clinton's
portfolio that I have to prefer Gore as the purer of the
two.

Of course, I suspect minor politicians would have been
thrown in jail for the Gore stunt.

By the way, I though Carter's activity to be unimpeachable.

I believe that leaders who lead loosely, i.e. those that have
delegated more authority, have usually been the ones that
have more scandals. In this, Clinton is the exception. Carter
kept short leashes on everyone, and never had much in the
way of scandal. But Clinton has just had incredible amounts,
and, in this case, the rot seems to start from the very top,
and to be deliberately executed at his orders.

P.S. Rumor at the office has it that Clinton and Yeltsin are
going to have a party. Clinton brings the girls, Yeltsin brings
the vodka.
