<OT> Divvie,
Up until very recently I loved JD Edwards. Fundamentally, I still like them - they are strong in the mid mkt which is where all the growth is, they had some interesting product offerings as you mentioned, because they were sort of late to the game although there is nothing wrong with the AS400 mkt that they have.

OK but the caveat is that the sector (traditional ERP) is in a bit of a slump right now, could be saturation, could be y2k Im not sure. So, JDE mkt is getting hit with deals from psft and sap which wouldnt have happened 2 years ago when psft couldnt even handle their own biz. So, Im not saying I wouldnt buy JDE here, just be careful, and know that your investment might take a while to develop - could be post y2k. I suggest you read the Psft thread for the last 2-3 weeks to get a general feel for the mkt... theres not that many posts there so it shouldnt take too long.

MH

WAY OT: I visited the Dell bear thread today. You have GOT to feel sorry for those guys. Kinda reminds me of that movie Bambi vs. Godzilla anybody see that?
