Paul -

I'm not short but there are times like this week when I wish I was. I've been long for quite a time and I'm just fed up with having all the progress wiped out on stock after stock. Its taken the fun out of life and has made me wonder about the whole basis of 'investing'.

It seems to me that the only people increasing their net worth in this environment are those who aren't in the least interested in th fundamentals or the progress of a stock. To surivive here all you need to do is to see what will droip in price even a relatively small amoutn over a relatively short period or vice-versa buy and get out or sell and get out and care less about the investment or the company.

I just couldn't bring myself to get out last week but sadly I just might tomorrow because I know the shorts will be at it again and it'll be another $2 and change down and we'll be below $20 on Friday with more to come next week as something else goes wrong around the world probably next in Brazil or maybe even back to Indonesia for a second helping.

Seems to me from watching CNBC just now that Asia is in for another nigh of it. The markets just don't believe the Hong Kong ogvernment and I think the investment banks and brokers in Hong Kong are pissed off with the Government because the goovernment has interfered with their neat little short selling plans and has cost them a fortune and the Government won't appear to quit.

anyway other than that it looks like more of the same and then presumably more of the same in Germany ( had its biggest ever one day fall on Friday) and then the US and etc etc. with no end in sight.

No I'm not short WCII but I'm fed up and all this 'take it like a man' stuff just doesn't go down with me. Sorry I'm not 'taking it like man' I'm taking it like it cost me!!
