14:35 ET Resource America (REXI) --Update-- Apparently, "false" rumors include speculation that REXI
will have a write-down in its commercial real estate division and that there may be some accounting concerns.
Several traders and analysts attributing circulation of rumors to short-sellers.

14:32 ET Resource America (REXI) 22 5/8 -6 1/2: According to Janney Montgomery Scott, there is no
fundamental reason for price drop. Says decline appears to have been driven by false rumors. Says has spoken
to a number of executives at the company and they feel comfortable that there is no negative event on the
horizon or change in positive outlook. Firm says remains very bullish on REXI and views sell-off as "terrific"
buying opportunity.

14:22 ET Resource America (REXI) 22 1/4 -6 7/8: Specialty finance says knows of no reason for stock
decline. Notes that company continues to perform in line with expectations. REXI shares tumbled 5 11/16 pts
Friday, REXI shares have retreated an additional 24% today.

David, agree that REXI needs to get above support at $22+. They have more news on this am but it comes down to "who to believe". One question worth knowing, why the report? What was the driver, for short sellers to pick up and use? Who requested it? Probably can't be answered but like the old days with tobacco research, who was paying for it may have an impact of "findings".

MMGR is another one that is beaten down with pretty good numbers, anyone know the story on this one?
