Re RIG, and loose ends: On a day that saw relatively few shares traded in most OS issues, Transocean dropped 4.3% today on ~180% avg. volume. Intraday, RIG sank below its 52 week low. Anyone have a line on this? Also, this news flash -- short interest on RIG totalled 1,571,869 shares, not 2,053,463 as I posted. Change and DTC ratio correct as posted. Affected parties should contact my attorneys. Finally, I, too, appreciated Thean's contribution to this thread, and still read his posts (and Doc's and Luc's and <H>'s and etc.) at Invest / LTD. I welcome all news and opinions, more- and less-informed, bearish and bullish, provided that they are offered in good faith and with a modicum of civility. I don't want anyone to shut up.
