The most amazing aspect of this type of press is that people still blindly fall in line when Bill's company finally gets its act together. Right now I do not hold NOVL but I am kicking myself for not getting back in in the low 10's. If you are betting the farm on NT 5.0 then you better buy lots of insurance for business operations. It seems nearly impossible for MSFT to release a stable product. They have so much spaghetti in the middle. It gets worse and worse every time they release an OS or NOS. I read that a service pack was already nearly complete for 98. Give me a break. They charge full rate for a BUG FIX/Multimedia upgrade and then bring out a service pack right afterwards. Just shoot me now. It is a wonder any of us can sleep at night knowing that our enterprise depends on anything this company has released. If I am correct NOVL actually increased the efficiency of their kernel. I wonder if MSFT is optimizing their Kernel and code in NT 5.0? HA!

Thanks,

David O'Berry
