Hi, Fugazi and all. Fugazi, did you at one time mention that this
stock could go lower than 5?

My curiosity makes me check in from time to time. Still the same
old story...no news from management and of course no upward movement.

Borrowed this from S3 SI board:

"As for Acquisitions. ATI is going to need to acquire or develop in
house PC Chip set technology or die a slow death. Intel will soon
release its integrated PC chipset and Graphics chip and SIS just
recently released their integrated chipset too. For low cost PC buying
an integrated PC/Graphics chipset seems to be the way to go.

ATI might even buy IDTI for their WinChip to develop a fully integrated PC on a chip. IDTI is worth less than US$500M. But with
the Canadian $$ getting cheaper, ATI better do something quick.

>>> Regarding the ATI article about them looking for someone to buy,
this gives some credit to the rumors I am hearing regarding ATI next
generation of product. ATI might be forced to buy technology because
rumor has it that ATI next chips are not ready or just don't compare
well with products on the market or ready to be released. If this is the case ATI will see its market cap go south just like what happened to S3.<<<"
